JMO Preceptors and Supervisors Each Mental Health Sector has a designated JMO Preceptor to co-ordinate Supervision, site orientation and provide moral support should you have any issues during your placement.
You will also be allocated a Term supervisor. Your term supervisor will provide you with your assessment and feedback during the term and is the person you should look to for clinical guidance and advice. Assistance - Where can you get help when you need it.
In 2015 the TAPPP implemented a monthly Near Peer Supervision group. The group is lead by a Psychiatry Trainee and provides JMOs the opportunity to discuss any current issues or concerns in a peer environment. Lunch is provided when the group meet.
Many JMOs ask us how to access their state mail account from their home computers. To access your SA Health work emails from your phone, just download the Outlook app on your phone and sign into your SA Health account. To access your emails from a laptop or a computer, log onto your Outlook account using any internet browser.
Weekly Lecture PowerPoints The weekly education program is provided by various lecturers each Thursday. Each week the lecturer provides their PowerPoint so that JMOs can access it when needed. Access to the Planner will be provided to each JMO, and can be accessed via the Microsoft Planner - link below.
